Family Group
Family Group was produced by Hilditch & Sons and is classed a chinoiserie pattern but later identied to be a bat printed pattern. The H1 backstamp was used in dark mauve. The pattern is shown on page 90 plate 69 c. of Hilditch Porcelain a collectors guide by Margaret Hewat & June M . Owen Also as an Appendix on page 13

The overall form of the H1b backstamp is that of a neat circular wreath, the ducal coronet being contained within the wreath rather thgan standing proud.
