
Hilditch wares produced with the Chinoiserie pattern were from the early period of Hilditch & Sons no earlier than 1820. This pattern is associated with the H1 backstamp composed of a wreath of leaves which contains the letters H&S and surrounded by a crown. The backstamps were applied in the same color as the transfer
The H1 backstamp can be found on the following patterns , colors vary depending on the color of the transfer. Other patterns using the H1 backstamp are Blue 'C' Scroll Vignettes, Lady with Lyre, boy with spotted dog , Boy Picking fruit, Boy offering flower, Man with basket of eggs and Eskimo child.
